Central Asian CDMA Forum organized a one day workshop on the latest 3G CDMA wireless technology at the NUST Institute of Information Technology on May 6, 2006. Dr Syed Ismail Shah, Founder member of Central Asian CDMA Forum delivered the 4 hour lecture on “Introduction to CDMA”.

The basic purpose of the short course was to promote and create awareness of 3G CDMA wireless technology for students and professionals and to facilitate the participants in improving their skill sets in CDMA technology.
